These trees caught my eye from a distance.. the branches made them look as if they were dancing!
Naturally, I was curious to identify the plants.
On going closer, I found them to be our old friend.. the Guava ... Not one or two but an entire grove of Guavas!
When in fruit, it would be a feast for birds and people living there I am sure.
A visual treat for the rest of the year!

Dancing trees! Wow! Never seen a grove like that. They do appear to be swaying to a rhythm. Very unusual but beautiful capture, Archana. Thanks for sharing this amazing picture.
ReplyDeleteThey truly look like dancing trees. My dad lives in a colony that was once an orchard and you can still see traces of the orchard around. It does look enchanting to see the trees all in a row.....

ReplyDeleteI love the guava fruit Archana:) would eat a lot as a child and even now i don't get much in the market. when i find on the road side I stop an pick up some... the trees look like its doing a classical dance:) Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeletei may have seen guavas when visiting Florida. They would never survive where I live. I've never seen a sight like this; Dancing Trees is so appropriate!

ReplyDeleteWow! Guava is one of my favorite fruits and to see a whole grove--what a treat, Archana! We used to have guava trees in our backyard and I remember, during my childhood, we'd eat the leaves (great mouth freshener) and the raw guavas before they had a chance to ripen! Wonderful memories!
