Thanks Sunita @bellybytes. This is the inflorescence of the herb called DeepMal of the Lamiaceae family. It flowers in November-December I have seen it growing wild on the roadside especially the Pune-Banglore highway.

what a brilliant orange. It is my favourite colour and in nature seems even more enchanting than on canvas.....Is this a wild plant or cactus?
