I havent posted any of my bonsai here simply because I dont think they are ready.
Still taking a leap of faith, today, I would like to share my Tamarind tree. Rather its transition from when it first came to my home. Its still not fully ready, the apex needs more attention and the branch structure is not ideal.
But I love my Chincha (marathi word for Tamarind) and I guess i dont want to interfere with its growth more than I have.
Here goes. This is how the plant was when it came to my home in Dec 2005.

Its been a long wait and I hope that in a few years it will look like a massive Tamarind tree inviting everyone to enjoy its cool shade. And it has not yet flowered. I am told that trees that are grown from seed take longer to flower and those from grafts flower much faster.
Chincha or Tamarind goes by the botanical name Tamarindus indica of the Caesalpiniaceae family.
I am joining Parul in her ThursdayTreeLove bloghop. Do head over to see fantastic trees from around the world. Better still, join in!
So beautiful!!! Impressive work!
